ARD-435 search for a means of expression.

Searching for the simplest form of expression led me to Japanese shadow theatre.

Shadow Play is an ancient form of story telling and entertainment that uses flat articulated cut-out characters that are held between a light source and a translucent screen or grid. Cut out doll shapes sometimes have a translucent color or other details. Different effects can be achieved by moving both the doll and the light source.

However, for the project, I decided to make simple dolls cut out of paper.

However, my dolls will be made of pages from books. It will be a combination of symbolism (feelings and emotions) with a source of old knowledge (books).
