During our trip around Catalonia, we visited Figueres. To be so close to the place where one of my favorite artists was born and not visit him, sin would be unforgivable. We took the train to Figueres from Barcelona. The journey lasted two hours. The whole city pulsates with Dali's surrealism and creativity. Dali's art became a trademark during his lifetime, a great media icon. His painting "The Persistence of Memory", also known as "Soft Clocks", has become a symbol of surrealism. This image was made when Dalí, after the dinner was over and the guests had left, sat and thought about...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTCRajtD2EA SIREN HEAD by Trevor Henderson Siren Head is a fictional humanoid monster created in 2018 by a Canadian artist known respectfully as Trevor Henderson. Henderson described the Siren Head as "the static physical form of a [unfathomable] supernatural being." The Siren Head is about 40 feet tall, sees without eyes, does not eat, despite having organic teeth, is rarely found in populous areas, and is usually stationary but can move very quickly. It uses an appearance similar to a telephone pole to hunt people. Siren Head has become immensely popular in recent years after famous YouTubers such as CoryxKenshin, Markplier, PewDiePie...

Olafur Eliasson - Danish-Icelandic artist creating sculptures and installations using unusual materials for the sculpture, such as light, water and air temperature. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. “It is not just about decorating the world… but about taking responsibility,” Olafur Eliasson said of his practice in a 2009 TED Talk. Eliasson uses natural elements (like light, water, fog) and makeshift technical devices to transform museum galleries and public areas into immersive environments. Promoting reflection on the spaces surrounding us, for Green River (1998-2001) he poured the bright green (environmentally safe) dye into...

As I mentioned before, Brooke is an amazing self portrait artist from USA. She is also great educator, sharing her knowledge with the community. Facing the global crisis we are in right now, Brooke, and many other artists, decided to give some talks and workshops for free. She is sharing her knowledge with anyone who wants to listen. I find this beautiful, and so altruistic. Here is newest Brookes video on self portraits. https://youtu.be/jyDHuny0-JY She has also created a very insightful article for Sony Alpha on this subject. I will just leave the link to it here https://alphauniverse.com/stories/brooke-shaden-how-to-create-self-portraits/ ...

David Lynch was born in 1946 in Missoula ,USA. He is one of the most controversial and characteristic American film directors. He developed his own style in which all elements of the work play an equally important role: characters, light, editing, music. In his films, he often refers to surreal elements, willingly creates variations on the subject of the human subconscious, dreams and phobia. He was nominated for an Oscar for the film Elephant Man . The plot of Lynch films becomes multidimensional, and these planes interpenetrate. The reality of sleep permeates the reality of everyday life, blurred threads...

source: www. wakacje-hiszpania.pl photo: Beata Skorek Malaga has been aiming to develop cultural tourism in this city for the last few years. Museo Picasso or Museo Thyseen are known to everyone, but not everyone knows that you can find more than 30 other museums here. One of the newest and extremely interesting is Center Pompidou. The first Center Pompidou was a project of French President Georges Pompidou, who officially opened the building of the museum in 1977. This cultural center quickly became one of the leaders of modern museology, offering visitors over 200,000 works of art and being one of the...

Malaga is a place on earth that I come back to from time to time. There is everything I need to catch the wind in my sails. There is wonderful sun, palm trees, great food, wine, happy people, and of course the sea. Here Pablo Picasso was born. The whole city, every corner is steeped in art and music. During my last trip, I was fascinated by Andalusian sacred art. Today Ciriaco and Paula Holy Martyrs Parish in the heart of Malaga. ...

Joyce Tenneson (born in Weston, Massachusetts on May 29, 1945) is an American fine art photographer known for her distinctive style of photography, which often involves nude or semi-nude women. I find Joyce work fascinating, the way she shows beauty of humans and the light we have within. Her portrait work shows how she looks at humans, and how much respect and admiration she holds for women. This is a beautiful example that art can still show and capture the beauty of human body and soul. You can see more of her works in one of many books...
