The wonderful alchemy of the kitchen shows how far we have come as a species, and also confirms that we have truly risen above the blood and claw-dominated world of nature. Cooking distinguishes us, allows us to define the boundaries between man and other living creatures, none of which can cook. Levi-Strauss in his book “Raw and Cooked” writes: “Cooking not only means the transition from nature to culture but thanks to it and through it we can define humanity with all its qualities.” us people.
